The guesthouse offered units with a lovely view. the location of the hotel was convenient, being close to the center of Gjirokastër and the old bazaar. - There were plenty of restaurant options nearby, like Taverna Kuka which was just a 15-minute walk away.

The hotel was situated in the central location in the old town. Further, it was close enough to the center of town...

The location of the hotel was central, not far from cafés, the old town area close to the Castel, and the old Bazar city centre. I found Snack Bar Simple offering shots and different drinks 1 mi of the venue.

    Can’t fault anything about it.

I had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful guesthouse in the center of a vibrant bazaar. The location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the surrounding area. The rooftop terrace, where breakfast was served, offered stunning views and a delightful start to each day. The hosts were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. They even treated me to homemade ice cream made with milk from their farm and drove me to the bus station upon departure. The breakfast spread was absolutely delicious, with fresh squeezed orange juice, fruit, eggs, breads. The level of care and hospitality I experienced was truly exceptional.

The only minor drawback I encountered was some noise from nearby bars on Saturday nights. However, the previous night was quiet, so this may only be an issue on weekends.

The host welcomed us with treats and even helped us park. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace was fresh and delicious. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and did our laundry for a great price. The location was fantastic and the staff were incredibly helpful.

The value for money at this guesthouse was fantastic. The room was clean and cozy, and the location couldn't have been better. The staff treated me like part of the family, going above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay.

The morning meal could have been improved with more variety.

Each room is fitted with air conditioning, creating a comfortable and cool environment for a longer stay like mine. The terrace with a city view in every room is just breathtaking. It's the perfect spot to relax and admire the beautiful surroundings. Having a private bathroom in each room is a big plus for me. It adds convenience and privacy, making my stay more enjoyable. The flat-screen TV in the twin room was a nice touch. It kept me entertained during my downtime.

I personally found the tumble dryer in the double room unnecessary, but others might find it useful.

The rooms are fitted with air conditioning, providing a cool and comfortable environment during hot summer days. Plus, the view from the terrace was absolutely breathtaking, allowing us to enjoy the cityscape in all its glory.

    Beds were slightly short.

I recently stayed at Alsara Guesthouse for a few days and I couldn't be happier. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town with beautiful views of the mixture of old and new. The colorful flowers all around the property added to its charm. The terrace overlooking the old bazaar was a great spot to enjoy a delicious breakfast. The staff, especially Mr. Pedro, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. I would definitely return just to stay here again.

    Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
